When should I start taking the Pre-conception & Pregnancy Blend?

Ideally, we recommend starting at least 3 months before you begin trying to conceive. This
gives your body time to build up optimal nutrient levels before pregnancy. That said, it’s
never too late to start, the blend supports you all the way through pregnancy and into
postpartum too!

How many capsules do I take?

Take 3 capsules daily with food. You can split the 3 capsules up over the day. Taking them
with a meal helps with absorption and can also help if you have a sensitive stomach.

What makes Gigi’s Pre-conception & Pregnancy Blend different?

We’ve included 20 premium, bio-active nutrients in their most absorbable forms, so your
body can actually use them. That means Methylfolate (Quatrefolic®) instead of synthetic folic
acid, and active B12 (Methylcobalamin) rather than cheaper, less effective forms. Every
ingredient and dose has been chosen with both mother and baby in mind.

Does it contain enough methyl-folate?

Yes! Our blend contains 600mcg of Methylfolate (Quatrefolic®), meeting the recommended
intake for every stage of your journey.

Why is Choline included?

Choline is one of the most important and most overlooked nutrients in pregnancy. It plays a
critical role in foetal brain development and neural tube formation, yet most prenatal
supplements don’t include it at all. We’ve included 400mg to make sure you’re covered.

Is Iron included?

Iron isn’t included in this blend, as iron requirements vary significantly from woman to woman
and too much iron can cause digestive upset. Iron also competes for absorption of nutrients
such as calcium. We recommend pairing with Iron Capsules if your levels
need support – ideally based on a blood test result.
